Java
A programming language created by Sun Microsystems that enables small
applications to run on different types of computers and operating systems.
Currently, search engines do not record the content inside a Java applet.
JavaScript
An open-source scripting language developed by Netscape that enables
web designers to create more animated and dynamic web pages.
JPEG
Abbreviation for Joint Photographic Experts Group. A type of graphic
image commonly used on web sites. JPEGs can contain millions of colors
and are displayed in the most commonly used browsers. Best format for
photographs, images containing gradients, or the presentation of millions
of colors.
